We have been landlords since 2000 with a small portfolio of properties in Hove.
We both manage and maintain the properties ourselves, carrying out repairs and decoration as required to keep overheads low but calling in professionals when needed.
Our tenants tend to remain with us for longer lets even on occasions getting in contact years later to ask if the properties are available.
